Dr. Lorri Riley knows first-hand how foot problems can affect your life. She herself has flat feet - a lifelong problem compounded by her athletics during her college years. In fact, this was one of the main reasons why she became a podiatrist.
During her 20-years+ career, Dr. Riley has treated thousands of patients for ailments related to flat feet, poor arch support and other problems. She found existing products on the market to be lacking - prescription orthotics can be expensive and rigid, and over-the-counter solutions didn't provide the true support her patients needed. Because of this she developed an arch support that is effective, affordable and able to correct a variety of problems.
For the patients in her practice, who need arch supports, she finds that more than 90 percent can get relief of foot, knee and/or back pain by using j1 Insoles, instead of prescription orthotics. Dr. Riley is also the Fit Feet Podiatrist for Special Olympics South Dakota.
Where did the name j1 Insoles come from? j1 Insoles stands for Jesus First In Souls. While trying to decide whether to proceed with the product, Dr. Riley came upon a bible verse that really spoke to her; "Make level paths for your feet, so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed" (Hebrews 12:13).
